Performance Painting Contractors launched their community outreach program, “Gift of Color” in 2011, by offering a free paint makeover to either a nonprofit organization or a person in need. To-date they have helped three non profits and a family in need and now they plan to expand that reach immensely.
Over the past few years Performance Painting Contractors has received nominations in various ways and the deciding factor of who gets the Gift of Color has been decided by the online community. This program is so near and dear to the hearts of the Performance Painting Contractors team that they have extended this to take place on an on-going basis instead of once a year.
The Jacksonville community can submit their nomination on Performance Painting Contractors’ website for a nonprofit, veteran, or family in need to receive our gift to the community, a painting makeover worth over $7500. The company intends to give at least two away this year.
“We support our community in various ways by sponsorship of events, schools and the like, but this program allows us to work together and bring someone a little bit of happiness with a splash of color. We enjoyed the outcome of past projects so much that we felt compelled to open up the nominations to be taken all year-long,” said, Jason Parker, owner of Performance Painting Contractors.
