How It Works

Our Industrial Project Process

01

Site Assessment

We evaluate the substrate, environment, and requirements before recommending any coating system.

02

Safety Planning

Written safety plan developed for your specific site. Coordination with your plant safety team before crews arrive.

03

Surface Prep

Prep to SSPC standards. Substrate must be correct before coating goes on. We don’t skip this step.

04

Application & QC

Coating applied per spec. DFT documented. Daily check-ins with your facility team.

05

Inspection & Sign-Off

We walk the scope with you. Done means you approved it.

Common Questions from Facility Managers and Plant Engineers

Question: Can you work around active plant operations?

Yes. We plan around your production schedule. Phased work, off-shift crews, and weekend work are all options. We’ll design the project schedule around your operational needs before we start.

What coating systems do you work with?

We work with all major industrial coating manufacturers including Sherwin-Williams, PPG, Carboline, and Tnemec. System selection depends on your substrate, environment, and performance requirements, we’ll recommend in writing before any work begins.

HOW PROFESSIONAL ARE YOUR CREWS ON SITE?

Very. Performance Painting holds strict standards of professionalism, our crews wear professional work attire, clean up as they go, and keep communication open with each other and with you throughout the project. You can count on a respectful, tidy job site from start to finish.

DO I NEED TO BE ON SITE DURING THE PROJECT?

We like you to be on site the first and last day, but the rest of the time you don’t need to be there. As part of our 5-step project management process, our Project Leader checks in with you at the end of each work day to keep you informed, and you’ll have the chance to inspect the finished work to make sure you’re satisfied.

Let's Assess Your Facility

Tell us about your project. We’ll review it and respond within one business day to schedule a site assessment.
