Got a Question? We Have The Answer.

How long will my project take to complete?

Most industrial equipment paint projects are completed in no more than 2-3 weeks with some being completed in 2-3 days depending on the scope of work.

What about choosing colors?

We make color selection fun and easy! We’ll provide you with free color swatches to hold up next to your equipment. Or if you prefer, we can also bring in a Professional Designer to help with color selection. Their billable time will be included in your final bill. As part of this process, if you’d like to see what different colors will look like on your equipment, Performance Painting will provide you with a digital rendering once we’re under contract with you. Your first rendering is on us at a cost of $0.

If you’re painting over rust will it come back over time?

While we can’t fully prevent rust from coming back, we can slow it down by treating rust spots before applying the top coat of paint. Factors that affect rust-return include the current condition of your metal/steel; how deep the existing rust has penetrated the surface; and climate/weather conditions. Note: rust is NOT covered under our 2 year warranty. Rather, rust should be treated regularly and we’re pleased to offer Customers a yearly maintenance program to help you stay on top of rust and other high-wear areas. Lastly, in some cases we can sandblast rust off the surface before painting; however, that step is usually not required.

What happens if we have touch-ups?

Performance Painting offers a 2 year warranty on all light industrial equipment projects. If you have touch-ups just give us a call and we’ll come out and take care of it.

Will your crews be playing loud music and leaving messes behind?

No. Absolutely not. Performance Painting maintains strict standards of professionalism that includes our crews wearing professional work attire; cleaning up as they go; and if they want to listen to music they have the option to use wireless headphones in one ear while keeping the other ear free to communicate with each other and with our customers.

Do I need to be on site when the work is done?

We like you to be on site the first and last day of the project; but the rest of the time you do not need to be on site. Also, as part of our 5-step project management process our Project Leader will check in with you at the end of each work day to keep you informed throughout the project as well as giving you the opportunity to inspect our work upon completion to ensure your satisfaction.

How much will my project cost?

The price of your project is always dependent on multiple factors such as size of your equipment, current condition of the equipment, paint quality chosen, etc. Our pricing is often on the mid-to-high side to support our quality of crews and equipment that extend the life of your investment.

What are my options to pay for my new painting project?

We’re happy to offer 4 options:

  • Cash
  • Check or ACH
  • Credit Card
  • Finance (0% for 2 years!)
