For the past few years we have joined our Jacksonville community in the annual Painting of the Pawprints. Every year Jaguar fans as well as folks that just enjoy participating in anything “Jacksonville” related, gather downtown to paint the Jaguar paw prints. The paw prints start at the base of the Main Street Bridge and lead a path to Everbank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In the past it was our pleasure to donate paint and rollers as well as plenty of painters to help out; but this year leadership decided to do something a little different. The downtown Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce Council asked us to the be the presenting sponsor for the 2016 event. It was our pleasure to do so.

“Most of us at Performance Painting are avid Jaguar fans, myself included. Naturally we want to come out and take part in a growing tradition,” said Jason Parker, owner of Performance Painting Contractors.

This year’s Painting of the PawPrints event is a little extra special to us. Not too long ago our crews were at Everbank field, giving the stadium some new coatings for the upcoming season. I jumped at the chance to write this blog post about the event as it was just a few short weeks ago that I was out here with the Performance Painting team watching the stadium get freshly painted by our crews. It is a feeling that only a Jacksonville Jaguar fan would truly understand.
